Sky Cable Corporation, the leading cable and broadband technology provider in the country, once again gathered Iloilo media and bloggers for a fun and exciting Media and Sky Pop Quiz, and this time with ‘Pastillas Girl’ Angelica Jane Yap!
The Media and Sky Pop Quiz is part of the Sky Alive! Tour, the country’s first experiential cable show fair held April 20-22 at SM City Iloilo Northwing, where SkyCable put up Instagrammable booths in which families may experience their favorite cable shows ‘in real life’ and at the same time get to know more about Sky’s different services.
The Iloilo stop of the tour is in partnership with channels HBO and PBO.
Shoppers who dropped by and registered enjoyed the games in interactive booths, with winners going home with exciting prizes and freebies. Selected registrants also got the chance to have a photo opportunity with celebrity guest Angelica Yap.
Meanwhile, the Media Pop Quiz was held in Cafe Iloilo inside the mall, near the Sky Alive! fair. We were divided into three groups with at least 5 members, and questions about the content of Sky’s different platforms SkyCable, Sky Broadband and Sky Direct.
The winning team, which was not us, received gift certificates. Aside from the quiz, Sky also did a raffle for everyone in attendance with the winner getting a Samsung tablet.
Executives acting as game hosts also announced that SkyCable had an advanced screening of the HBO television series Westworld, ahead than the US showing. Subscribers may catch it on HBO Go, where they can binge-watch via online streaming if they missed the previous season of the American western thriller series.
Pastillas Girl also graced the event, entertained few questions from the media, and had a photo op with media and bloggers.
