The Department of Health Regional Office 6 (DOH-6) announces that they are now accepting applications of nurses, doctors, midwives, dentists, pharmacists and other health professionals for Human Resource for Health (HRH) Deployment Programs in 2019.
HRH Deployment Program is the thrust of DOH where health professionals are hired and deployed to rural health units, birthing centers, and barangay health stations. They give priority to the barangays without health workers, Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAS), Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities, and areas where the absolute number of poor and the incidence of poverty are high.
Based on the proposed National Budget for 2019 released by Department of Budget and Management (DBM), only 243 doctors, 9,138 nurses, 3,650 midwives, and 241 dentists will be hired for deployment in 2019.
DOH-6 issued an advisory stating the following available positions for deployment in Western Visayas:

The Online Application for DOH HRH in Western Visayas is from October 28, 2018 to November 4, 2018, from 8AM to 5PM only.
All interested applicants are required to understand and follow all instructions carefully. All applications MUST be made and submitted PERSONALLY. Here are the steps once you are in the DOH REGIONAL OFFICE 6 ONLINE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM:
1.Register online. You may click the ‘My Profile’ link on the left, or the ‘Log-in’ link on the upper right corner. On the next page, click the Sign In/Register button and then click the tab ‘Register First!’. There you will be asked of your personal info and other pertinent details. After registration, you have to allow 24 hours for your account to be approved.
2. Sign in. If your account is already approved, you may sign in using the username (email) and password you provided in the registration.
3. Apply online. Once signed-in, click ‘Application’ button. This is where you submit your application. The form has selection for what program are you applying, other cadre you are interested in, your personal info such as date of birth, address, contact numbers, email. After filling it out, Submit your application.
4. Print your confirmation slip. Applicants without PRINTED CONFIRMATION SLIP will not be catered in the next step of the screening process.
That’s it! Also, please read other information in the online portal such as requirements needed. The downloadable confirmation slip has important information on instructions on the qualifying exam.
Non-compliance to instructions may cause disqualification to the program applied for.
